Hi, I have lived with and loved dogs my whole life. I moved from Colorado to Reno to pursue a degree in Biology, which I obtained in 2015. I love spending time in the mountains hiking, fishing and camping. I also coach childrens’ soccer and love music. When I am not spending time playing with and walking dogs, I am working towards a career in medicine. As a K9 Nanny , it is my goal to improve the lives of your dogs in any way I can and keep those puppy hearts happy!

Although pit bulls and rat terriers are my favorite, I love all animals. I've been volunteering and working for the Reno Nevada Humane Society for over 6 years. And as Head of the Offsite Adoption Program, you'll find me at local Petcos, Petsmarts, and various events around town, basically anywhere our colorful van might be helping dogs in search of their forever home. I find satisfaction in putting happy tails in happy loving homes, enriching the lives of the dogs and the people welcoming them. As a K9 Nanny, I am further ensuring the happiness of the pets and the owners by stepping in when they are separated, caring and looking after pets while their families are away. My other hobbies are music, movies, hiking and most importantly cooking. What is life without good food!!
"Hello! My name is Courtney and I just graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno. I have been an animal lover my whole life and memories of my childhood wouldn't be complete without my dogs. I also love hiking, climbing, and playing music--I play guitar, bass, and sing. I plan on going to graduate school in a few years, but until then I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members!"
Hi! I’m Liz, I’ve met so many amazing dogs in this city—from active pups out hitting the trails to sweet seniors who just want to soak up the sun. I love fetch, walks, playtime, and plenty of doggie cuddles, and I can’t wait to meet your four-legged family! When I’m not caring for dogs, I’m studying for my EMT class at Truckee Meadows Community College or out hiking up a mountain.
Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I've cared for Beagles and Pit Bulls to Great Danes and Shih Tzus. Being a K9 Nanny means serving your dog and family the best I can. I’m here to positively impact your dog’s life with attentive care and tons of walks and fetch (if they're willing). I’ve traveled all the way from New Jersey to serve for AmeriCorps in Reno, NV. When I am not advocating in our local parks for Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation, you can find me hiking mountains, meandering museums, or fabricating some sort of craft. I can’t wait to meet your dogs and keep those tails wagging.
After 25 years as a Global Supply Chain Analyst, living and working all over the world, I traded in my corporate badge for a dog leash. I have been a dedicated dog owner and animal activist my entire life. And being able to combine my business skills and my love for dogs, creating Professional Dog Mom has been a life long ambition. Besides being a small business owner and a full time K9 Nanny, I am also an active volunteer for the Nevada Humane Society in Reno and Carson City, NV. I am certified by the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters and certified for First Aid/CPR for dogs and cats.
